Apple Cake

The seductive smell of apples and cinnamon alone makes you want to try a piece of this juicy apple cake, which should be best enjoyed on a rainy autumn day with a hot cup of coffee.

Ingredients for 1 tin form:

300 g (2 1/3 cup) flour

4 eggs

220 g (1 cup) of sugar

100 ml  (1/3 cup) of oil

100 ml  (1/2 cup) of milk

1 packet of vanilla sugar

1 packet of baking soda

6-8 apples

3-4 tablespoons cinnamon sugar mix

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (375°F).

  2. Stir the eggs with sugar, milk, oil, 1 packet of vanilla sugar. Add the flour and baking powder and stir well.

  3. Peel the apples. Cut three apples into small cubes and mix them under the dough.
  4. Place a Blechrein White paper in the tin form and fill in the dough.

  5. Cut the remaining apples into slices and spread them evenly on the dough.

  6. Sprinkle the cake with 3-4 tablespoons of the sugar cinnamon mixture and bake for 45-60 minutes until the cake is golden brown.
