Salmon with Pistachio Crust
This fantastic salmon with a crispy pistachio crust is not only very delicious, but also a real eye-catcher on our Blechrein Black.
Ingredients for 2 persons:
2 salmon fillets
1 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoons olive oil
20 g (approx. ¼ cup) pistachios
1 slice of toast
1 sprig rosemary
2 sprigs of thyme
1 organic lemon
For the crust shell the pistachios and chop together with the toast and the herbs.
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Cut Blechrein Black in the right size to put it into a baking dish. Cut the lemons into slices, place them on the baking paper and put the salmon fillets on top.
- Combine olive oil and honey, season with pepper and salt and marinate the salmon with it.
Sprinkle the herb-crust on top and press with light pressure onto the salmon
Cook in the oven for 20 - 25 minutes until the crust is nice and crispy.
