World Cup Cherry Muffins

Delicious World Cup Muffins with cherries and crumbles baked in Blechrein Black and presented on Blechrein Boys. A culinary highlight for all soccer fans!

Ingredients for 16 muffins:

3 eggs

165 g of butter

165 g of sugar

265 g of flour

150 g of Greek yogurt

½ packet of baking powder

1 packet of vanilla sugar

300 g of cherries

Crumble:

100g of flour

60 g of butter

50 g of sugar

Preparation:

Heat up the oven to 180 °C.

Beat butter with sugar and vanilla sugar until foamy. Add eggs and yogurt and stir. Mix the flour with the baking powder and stir again.

Core the cherries, cut in half and carefully fold them under the dough. Cut  Blechrein Black into squares of 12 x 12 cm and place in a muffin tin.  Fill in the dough.

For the crumble, knead the flour with butter and sugar into coarse crumbles and spread on the muffins.

Bake muffins for about 15-20 minutes.
