Salmon with Pistachio Crust

This fantastic salmon with a crispy pistachio crust is not only very delicious, but also a real eye-catcher on our Blechrein Black.

Ingredients for 2 persons:

2 salmon fillets

1 tablespoon honey

2 tablespoons olive oil

20 g (approx. ¼ cup) pistachios

1 slice of toast

1 sprig rosemary

2 sprigs of thyme

1 organic lemon



  1. For the crust shell the pistachios and chop together with the toast and the herbs.

  2. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).

  3. Cut Blechrein Black in the right size to put it into a baking dish. Cut the lemons into slices, place them on the baking paper and put the salmon fillets on top.

  4. Combine olive oil and honey, season with pepper and salt and marinate the salmon with it.
  5. Sprinkle the herb-crust on top and press with light pressure onto the salmon

  6. Cook in the oven for 20 - 25 minutes until the crust is nice and crispy.
